PCP Assessor Conference just around the corner...

The PCP Assessor Conference, organized by the Petroleum HR Council, the Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC) and ENFORM is just around the corner in Nisku, Alberta on May 21st and 22nd.

The conference will provide participants with up-to-date information on the Petroleum Competency Program, its processes and next steps. PCP Assessors, Committee Members and Steering Committee Members are invited to give their input on challenges faced by assessors and propose program improvements. To learn more view the invitation.

SPONSORSHIP PROCESS
Sponsorship/advertising of the Careers in Oil and Gas website follows this process:
  1. Organization wishing to sponsor completes the Careers in Oil and Gas Sponsorship Form.
  2. Sponsor organization submits the completed form to the Petroleum HR Council by emailing info@careersinoilandgas.com or faxing to (403) 537-1232.
  3. The completed form is checked by Petroleum HR Council staff. An invoice is created and sent to the sponsor organization.
  4. The sponsor organization sends a cheque to pay the invoice. Please note that the Petroleum HR Council is unable to accept credit card payments.
  5. The sponsor organization provides all advertising files and content to the Petroleum HR Council, following the website's Advertising Guidelines, while payment receipt is confirmed.
  6. Allow ten business days for payment confirmation.

ADVERTISING GUIDELINES

The following guidelines apply to all ads placed on www.careersinoilandgas.com.

Content
  • Ad content must be in line with the stated goals of the website and with the representative and collaborative mission of the Petroleum HR Council of Canada (Petroleum HR Council). The Petroleum HR Council therefore reserves the right to approve all advertisements before posting them to the site.
  • Petroleum HR Council must not be placed in a position of endorsing or selling any sponsoring organization or company.
  • All Canadian laws and privacy regulations must be strictly adhered to.
  • Recruiting ads must be for positions in Canada.
Location
  • No advertisements on home page.
  • No top banner ads on any page.
  • No more than two advertisements on any given page.
  • No advertisements on pages with sponsored content.
  • All advertisements are run of site ads. Specific page placement cannot be guaranteed.
Style, Size, Shape and Number
  • No flashing, animated, expandable or pop-up ads.
  • Ads must be built to conform to stated specifications.
  • Each organization may only have one advertisement on the site.
  • Ad size is 120 x 240 pixels ().
Links
  • Advertisements link to advertiser's landing page of choice on their own site only.
  • Links open in a new, smaller browser window.
